Supply Chain Professional; Samlesbury; 12 months; 22.15PH Paye; Inside IR35 We currently have an opportunity for a Supply Chain Professional working with our aerospace sector client on the Typhoon Repairs order book team based at their site in Samlesbury. As a Supply Chain Professional, you will manage the delivery of aircraft from suppliers for the contract. You will assist and focus on coordinating and delivering Customer requirements within stringent timescales. The role is fundamental in supporting our Customer Operational requirements whilst interacting with key stakeholders across all business functions. The role will involve liaising with the internal functions including Commercial, Engineering and Procurement in order to deliver a successful supply chain whilst continuously enhancing customer satisfaction. Core Duties Your main responsibilities as a Supply Chain Professional will involve: Receive, validate and accept incoming Customer orders ensuring due diligence Supporting the full end to end management of order books, including stakeholder management across multiple functions Managing the order books from receipt of order to delivery, using the systems and reporting tools available Previous experience of an Orderbook Management role is required. To keep ERP systems topical with latest information. Performance indicators – Ensure the effective provision of Order Book Management activities by meeting delivery targets and reporting on any impact on operational/process performance. Being involved in Internal Orderbook reviews & external stakeholder Orderbook reviews, to establish forecasts, shipments and maintaining relationships that should take place within the reviews with both the Procurement teams and external Customer. Leadership Responsibilities: Preparing for and supporting Customer facing order book reviews Liaising with internal and external Customers including national and international partners Knowledge and Skills Experience in a customer facing role Knowledge of the Supply Chain role Experience with using Infor LN ERP system would be beneficial You will have the ability to build and foster robust and collaborative relationships with internal and external customers and key suppliers. You will show excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be a team player Willingness to learn Keen attention to detail. Good understanding of KPI’s Outstanding organisational ability and able to prioritise workload.
