We’re looking for an experienced New Business Manager to identify and secure new business opportunities, build strategic relationships, and drive revenue growth across the UK.

What you’ll do

  • Deliver regional business development plans aligned to IMI’s commercial strategy.
  • Identify, develop and convert new opportunities across your assigned regions and sectors.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with employers, partners and key stakeholders.
  • Promote IMI’s full portfolio at regional meetings, sector forums and industry events.
  • egotiate and secure new business.
  • Support Professional Services activity in-region and ensure effective internal handover post-sale.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and activity reporting using agreed tools.
  • Act as a regional ambassador for IMI, contributing to cross-business projects and wider engagement.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in consultative selling and business development, with strong commercial acumen and a track record of winning new business.
  • Excellent relationship-building, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Confident presenter, comfortable engaging both small groups and larger audiences.
  • Understanding of the education, professional body and/or automotive retail sectors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proposal and report writing.
  • Comfortable with data analysis, reporting and maintaining accurate sales pipeline/forecast information.
  • Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft systems.

Desirable

  • Experience of awarding or professional body operations.
