Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a leading specialist manufacturing company who are looking for a Principal Design Engineer. The company design and manufacture large scale engineering products and are at the forefront of their industry with a focus on renewable technology. Working in a dynamic R&D team this role will be a leading role in the management of a team and the delivery of new product development to support the strategy and overall business objectives to deliver carbon neutral products. The Principal Design Engineer will be responsible for: Leading a team of engineers in the development of products Liaising with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful integration of project components Develop and manage 3D CAD engineering drawings and systems Ensuring structural and mechanical engineering calculations are validated Co-ordinate and lead design reviews The Principal Design Engineer will need: A mechanical component or system design background and experience A relevant engineering degree or equivalent Experience of working in a manufacturing technical engineering environment Experience of managing and leading others A sound knowledge of mechanical principles and calculations Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist division within Elevation Recruitment Group; specialising in the recruitment of Senior Projects; Design; Engineering positions Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.
