You will be in charge of safety-critical powertrain technologies in real-time for use in passenger cars and commercial vehicles. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Creating control strategies and algorithms (using Matlab Simulink/Stateflow) and generating code automatically for software intended for production * Creating requirements for CAN communication and system diagnostics * Creating validation tests for the vehicle and electrical test * EGAS standard-compliant functional safety strategy development * Gathering and evaluating client needs * Supporting the vehicle and engine testing of the client hardware and system support DESIRABLES * Experience of developing any of the following: o Fuel injection systems o Engine control features o OBD or powertrain diagnostics * Understanding of sensors and actuators (analogue, digital, H-Bridge, CAN-based, SENT) * Experience working for a Tier 1 supplier in the automotive industry * Experience in a production intent auto-coding environment * Experience testing on bench, HiL, or vehicle * Experience with calibration and control
