V-Recruit are looking for an experienced HGV/Plant Mechanic to join an existing team for a Bradford-based company. Our client are a large contractor within the construction and civil engineering industry and have a temp-perm vacancy for an experience fitter/mechanic. Duties will include routine maintenance, periodic inspections, fault diagnosis and repairs of a large fleet of HGV's, vehicles and plant machinery. You will be responsible for keeping accurate records and documentation of your work. At time you will be working under pressure, in a busy workshop/yard environment so you must be a good team player, and be able to manage your own workload, as well as being able to work to deadlines efficiently. £16 per hour, but negotiable for experienced and qualified Mechanics/Fitters. 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday This is a temp to perm contract, paid through V-Recruit for the first 12 weeks. The right candidates must have proven and relevant experience, ideally with relevant qualifications. You will be required to provide references, and potentially attend an interview for the role.
