My client is looking for a Vehicle Controls Engineer to contribute to the design, development, testing, and deployment of vehicle control systems. Key Responsibilities: You will be involved in the development and integration of vehicle control software and electronic control systems, including: * Developing and maintaining Simulink vehicle control models and supporting ECU migration activities * Programming and configuring vehicle control systems using Curtis VCL * Diagnosing vehicle faults and implementing effective fault-handling strategies * Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting vehicle communication systems * Working with electronic controller toolchains, including dSPACE MicroAutoBox platforms * Supporting system testing, validation, and problem resolution activities * Managing software releases, configuration control, and version management processes * Developing and analysing models using MATLAB and Simulink * Contributing to autonomous vehicle control strategies and system architecture * Supporting the development of electric vehicle drive systems and control solutions * Applying Design for Safety principles throughout the product lifecycle Tools & Technologies Experience with some or all of the following is desirable: * MATLAB * Simulink * Vector development tools * New Eagle Raptor development tools * dSPACE toolchains * Vehicle communication networks and control systems Experience Required: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM discipline. * Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills. * Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities. * Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Desirable Experience: * Strong knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle architectures. * Experience developing control systems for electric vehicles. * Exposure to autonomous vehicle technologies and advanced mobility solutions. * Understanding of software release processes and configuration management.
