You’ll be the force that supports and assists in studio engineering activities for either exterior or interior programmes, whilst generating quality alternatives to initial proposals, turning the ordinary into the extraordinary! Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities Interface with the Centres of Competence (CoCs) to ensure input to the development of the design aesthetic is interrogated Contribute to the proposal of feasibility solutions at this meeting, and attend the 'Clay Feasibility' meetings  Track and monitor results against the Design Feasibility Gateway deliverables (the Feasibility Checkpoint process) Contribute to generating and developing the creation of feasible engineering schemes in Computer Assisted Design  (CAD) to deliver aesthetic designs including generating creative alternatives to initial proposals  WHAT YOU’LL NEED Technical expertise – to guide the cross functional team (including the programme related Studio Engineering team) to deliver feasible solutions while maintaining the design aesthetic A broad understanding of vehicle packaging, bumper and exterior trim engineering, exterior lighting systems, occupant & pedestrian safety, closures, manufacturing and assembly, instrument panel, console and door trim engineering CAD experience (ideally CATIA V5 / V6 & TCE system experience)
