Wilson Recruitment Ltd have a full time and permanent opportunity to work for a family run business based in Peterborough. This is a Service Advisor vacancy that would suit someone who is looking to come away from a corporate setting within the automotive sector, to work in a company where senior management truly care about their staff. Role Experienced Service Advisor within the automotive sector Rota Monday to Friday (Apply online only) + every other Saturday morning Salary Depending on experience and skillset, £25k-£30k (negotiable for the right person) Benefits • Private healthcare to include dental and optical • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays • PDP and full training where required • Company pension and saving scheme • Corporate days out • Company team meals • Group gatherings on Friday evenings • Free onsite parking, hot drink facilities and uniform • Staff discount on MOTs and Services for personal vehicles Person spec • Will be confident, well-mannered, calm and patient • Must have excellent communication and customer service skills, be able to greet customers on arrival to the reception area and maintain good working relationships with their team • Should be adaptable to learn new systems and processes as per the companies training • Would have prior experience in ordering car, van and/or HGV parts • Might possess the ability to translate automotive jargon to customers in a way they understand • Could have experience of working as a Service Advisor or have some experience working within an automotive setting • Shall have some understanding of dealership systems such as ADP/Kerridge/Autoline • Can demonstrate a clear career history and provide references or referee details from similar roles • Shall hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points and have access to a reliable vehicle General overview of roles and responsibilities • General administration duties, meet and greet, sourcing and ordering of automotive parts • Contacting customers to provide an update on vehicle, including checking in / checking out • Creating job cards and liaising with the workshop to determine turnaround times • Build a professional working relationship with suppliers • Maintain electronic and/or paper records of completed service work and file accordingly For more information, please contact Cheryl Wilson on (phone number removed) between the hours of 0830 and 1700 Monday to Friday.
