Position Title:             Senior Chassis Control Systems SW & Calibration Engineer Duration:                     Contract                                                                     Location:                     Surrey Principal Accountabilities: Implement control functions in MATLAB Simulink/Stateflow C-code generation and analysis Conduct SW components testing using MIL and SIL techniques Testing SW components within the system on the HIL SW components verification & validation against requirements Lead technical discussions with suppliers Work cross-functionally to deliver software components Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Degree level education in a relevant Engineering discipline - mechanical, automotive, etc. Model-based, auto-coded software prototyping and production implementation Support vehicle software testing and calibration Excellent knowledge of suspension control and/or ESP software and calibration Excellent control theory background Good knowledge of automotive systems at system architecture level Software requirements capture and detailed software design into specifications Model-based control software development and verification AUTOSAR software components generation and integration Verification testing in MIL, SIL and HIL environments, and in-vehicle integration Compliance to industry standards such as ISO26262 and ASPICE Demonstrative experience in the automotive sector Personal Attributes: Passion for software, vehicle dynamics, and automotive control systems Technical mindset with the ability to work from fundamental engineering principles. Conscientious with excellent attention to detail for quality, reliability and safety. Self-motivated, pro-active in anticipating & addressing potential problems, willingness to learn and develop. Proven personal & team workload management skills. Collaborative, working effectively across teams & departments to deliver on time & to quality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Long term view on solutions and problem solving. Pro-activity in facing potential problems and in possibly anticipating them. Travelling to proving grounds in all seasons (winter/summer testing) Driving Licence
