Key Responsibilities: Coordinate the internal audit program for QMS, Process, and Product audit, ensuring adherence to QMS and customer requirements. Carry out internal audits to IATF 16949 standard. Identify nonconformities and opportunities for improvement through internal audit. Support external audits. Lead the progression and closure of actions and workstreams identified through continual improvement processes, with a focus on internal audit actions. Support the investigation of quality issues from customers and internal production. Use problem-solving techniques to carry out quality investigations, ensuring conformity to customer and QMS requirements. Agree and implement corrective actions identified in quality investigations. Engage with customers and report on the status of customer investigations. Update and maintain production documentation, such as PFMEA, Process Flows, and Control Plans, to standardize and close quality investigations. Report on the status of QMS & Compliance processes. Ensure conformity to customer and QMS requirements by reviewing, maintaining, and updating QMS documentation, processes, and procedures. Own SQDCPE KPI reporting and communication. Job Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have: An understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 requirements. Internal auditing experience, preferably with IATF 16949 internal audit qualification or equivalent. A relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification and/or experience. An understanding of manufacturing core tools such as PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC. Skills in problem-solving techniques and knowledge of continual improvement. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills and confidence in presenting and reporting. Confidence in leading small investigation teams. A good level of IT skills, particularly in MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint. Desirable Skills and Experience: It would be beneficial if you have: Experience in applying IATF 16949:2016 requirements. Qualified IATF 16949:2016 Lead Auditor. Experience in automotive engineering. Experience in production assembly. Behaviour Competencies: High personal standards of integrity and the drive to achieve a robust solution. Comfortable communicator - ability to communicate effectively with engineering and operational staff, from shop floor to senior management level, including with external clients and suppliers. Proactive in leading investigations and resolving issues - confidence in delivering tasks on time and to a high standard. Organized, with an ability to multi-task - Able to assess, prioritize, and respond with absolute urgency to serious issues, should they arise.
