School of Thought is part of a not-for-profit organisation called Ready4Work Community Interest Company and we promote careers in the automotive industry and advise young people, parents and educators on all the career opportunities that are available
The School of Thought visits schools, colleges, universities and community groups and also takes part in virtual events organised by STEM UK. We also support businesses with careers open days and site visits and give advice about work experience, traineeships, internships and apprenticeships.
The work experience placement will be in a busy parts department where they will learn about stock control, telesales, parts identification, delivery scheduling and IT Systems used in the business.
A keen interest in the automotive industry would be a benefit but someone who is organised and has good communication and numerical. Also a team player.
