We're looking for a Member Engagement Officer to join our dynamic team as the first point of contact for our members and potential members. You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service, strengthening member relationships, and actively promoting our membership products, upgrades, and recognition offers.

This is an exciting opportunity to support and shape the entire member journey—from acquisition and onboarding through to engagement and retention.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

As a Member Engagement Officer you’ll:

  • Be the first line of contact for member enquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp and chat.
  • Provide professional, friendly, and solution-focused support.
  • Build relationships with members to understand their needs and enhance their experience.
  • Gather and share member feedback to help drive continuous improvement.

Engagement & Retention

  • Support marketing and campaign efforts to attract and retain members.
  • Confidently communicate the value of membership and upsell upgrades and recognition products.
  • Stay informed about industry trends to enhance member conversations.

Administration & Data

  • Maintain high standards of record keeping, ensuring all engagement points are well documented.
  • Coordinate with third-party suppliers to deliver membership materials.
  • Contribute to team planning and operations, including rota management and invoicing.

Member Networks & Events

  • Support the delivery of webinars, member events, and other CPD activities.
  • Encourage and facilitate member participation in community and learning events.
  • Share insights to help refine member communications and improve relevance and impact.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a customer-facing or sales/retention role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident using digital tools (CRM systems, email, chat, WhatsApp, etc.).
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a keen eye for detail and data quality.
  • Passion for delivering excellent service and exceeding expectations.
