My client is seeking a skilled MOT Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring vehicle safety. Responsibilities. - Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA standards - Identify vehicle defects and wear - Complete accurate and detailed test reports - Provide exceptional customer service by explaining test results clearly - Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the testing area - Familiarity with SVN, Linux, and TFS - Experience in system testing and software testing - Knowledge of Scrum methodology - Ability to gather requirements effectively Inspect and test different types of vehicles for safety, roadworthiness, and emissions. Identify defects and ensure they meet the failure standards. Provide clear and accurate advice to customers on necessary repairs. Perform vehicle inspections in a timely manner. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MOT testing rules and regulations. Insure testing tools and equipment are properly calibrated and maintained. Complete all paperwork accurately and promptly.
