Our client, a global pioneer in sustainable aviation is building technology to change the way the world travels, they are combining the very best talent from aerospace, Formula 1 and automotive to develop a cutting-edge electric aircraft. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Technician to join a growing R&D production team. The successful candidate will have experience in electrical panel wiring, ideally within the aviation sector. This role will be working on a temporary contract basis, initially for 3 months although contract extensions are likely. Duties will include: * Carrying out the fitting of electrical components to technical drawings. * Carrying out the build, testing and commissioning of sub-assemblies and full aircraft systems including low and high voltage electrical systems as well as providing support for aircraft systems test and flight test activities. * Ensuring all appropriate paperwork or recording is completed and maintained (job cards, tech logs, tech library, ERP system entries). The ideal candidate: * Will have panel building / wiring, crimping and soldering experience. * Will come from an aerospace, automotive or industrial background. * Have a good working knowledge of electrical schematics and technical assembly drawings. * Can work autonomously and safely. * Happy to travel to different Test locations when required. * Have a full UK driving license
