Breakdown Controller opportunity Support the supervision of maintenance, repair, and breakdown activities while delivering excellent customer service. Ensure requests are managed efficiently, cost-effectively, and in a timely manner, working collaboratively with the service team and other departments to maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers. The hours of work are 7am-7pm (Sat, Sun & Mon) and 7am-1.30pm (Tues) Duties of the Breakdown Controller Manage customer calls, log repair requests and respond to service enquiries in a professional and timely manner. Schedule and coordinate Field Service Engineers, adjusting resources to meet changing customer and business requirements. Maintain regular communication with customers providing updates on job progress and completed or outstanding service work. Accurately record service jobs, vehicle parts sales and service documentation within internal systems. Liaise with the Service Supervisor, Service Manager and technical team to resolve issues and ensure efficient service delivery. Collaborate with internal departments to support service operations, projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide administrative support to the service team and undertake additional duties as required to meet business needs of Field Service Engineering resource according to capacity and geographical location.
