Assembly/Mechanical Technician * upto £12.97 per hour * Monday to Friday Days 40-hour weeks * Established manufacturer. * Respected partner to the Aviation industry * Great company culture We are working with a long-standing client of ours based in Wythenshawe who are experts in the aviation industry who are looking for an Assembly/Mechanical Technician The Job * Produce all seat plastics components to the highest quality standard, including but not restricted to the following processes (scraping, tool making, vacuum forming, trimming, gluing and assembly) * Work within the COSHH guidelines and ensure correct wearing of appropriate PPE. * Read and understand basic engineering drawings and 1st and 3rd Angle projection * Assist in stock control/stores/inspection/part marking and packaging. * Ensure the workshop is maintained to a safe standard in accordance with company EH&S policies/procedures. * Help out in the inspection area when required including packing and boxing up components. * Kit components as required. About you * Proven experience in Assembly * Experience using hand tools * Capable of reading and understanding Standard Measuring Equipment SME. * Able to interpret Assembly/Engineering drawings * To have a keen eye for detail.
