Due to continied grwoth our client is looking for several Fit and Assembly Technicians who are hands-on, mechanically capable, and comfortable working to high standards in a structured manufacturing environment. What you’ll actually be doing * Assembling and fitting components using engineering drawings and work instructions * Working with hand tools and equipment in a controlled, quality-led environment * Carrying out in-process checks to ensure parts meet specification * Working alongside experienced fitters, engineers, and quality teams * Flagging issues early quality matters * Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area * Supporting continuous improvement What we need from you * Solid mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand and power tools * Experience in manufacturing, engineering, assembly, or fitting (aerospace experience is useful, but not essential if your standards are right) * Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and instructions * Strong attention to detail - you notice when something isn’t right * A reliable, team-focused attitude * Willingness to learn and develop within an aerospace environment * Comfortable with standing work and manual handling as part of the role What you’ll get * 4-day working week (37 hours) * Paid overtime * 28 days’ holiday (based on 4-day week) * Life insurance & cash plan * On-site occupational health * Long-service recognition * Employee referral scheme * Bike-to-Work scheme * A stable, long-term role in a business with real aerospace programmes
