We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our main dealer team in Bury. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the repair, maintenance and servicing of vehicles of all makes and models. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work with power tools and diagnostic equipment. You will need your own tools and a full driving licence. Level 2 or 3 or above at imi / nvq or similar certification. Time served candidates also welcome. Duties: - Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks according to established guidelines - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using appropriate tools and equipment - Inspect vehicles for damage or defects and recommend necessary repairs - Maintain accurate records of all work performed on vehicles - Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient workflow - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns Skills: - Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for vehicle repairs - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail This is a full-time position Monday- Friday and Saturday mornings on a team rota. With a competitive basic salary of £29,000 based on experience, With a Ote of £35,000 including a bonus structure.
