JOB TITLE: Mobile Smart Repair Technician LOCATION: Plymouth WORKING HOURS: Monday – Friday (8:30am – 5pm) PAYE RATE: £27,000 p/a + Bonus Igloo has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Smart Repair Technician to work with our client in Plymouth, the successful candidates will be working on the behalf of an established business who boast the largest network of accredited Smart Repair Technicians in the country. The Role: As a Smart Repair Technician, you will carry out repairs on a mobile basis, ensuring that a high-quality service is provided for the customer every time, successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the below tasks: * Deliver a high standard of customer service to all customers * Explain process of the repair to customer before you begin * Always follow health and safety measures * Take card payments * Advise and provide aftercare/ insurance material * Alloy wheel refurbishment * Diamond cut and shadow chrome repairs * Bumper corner repairs * Wing mirror repairs * Painted trim repairs * Panel repairs – no more than two panels on one side * Touch in chips on bonnet * Door handle repairs * Report to Technical Operations Manager What kind of person are we looking for: * The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate their knowledge, understanding and previous experience of working within a smart repair role. * Demonstrate a good and sound understanding of all Smart repair processes. * Will need to be hard working and reliable. * Have the attitude of producing high quality finishes, first time, every time. * Be able to work well under own esteem as well as part of the team. * Hold a category B driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences. * ATA or IMI accredited is desirable but by no means essential. * Excellent communication and time management skills. * Organised with an attention to detail
