Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Tower Hamlets Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience We are looking for a Skilled Vehicle Technician this role will be E14 0JJ. The right candidate will: To carry out repair and maintenance to various types of fleet vehicles * Undertake the inspection, maintenance and repair of vehicles, plant and equipment including other repairs and modifications on vehicles and equipment that require specialist skills and experience as identified in the person specification attached. * Prepare and present all types of vehicles and motorcycles to appropriate approved testing stations and achieve a high pass rate, * Undertake MOT tests on appropriate vehicles presented to the Council’s MOT bay. We require the following: * Experience needed in HGV & PSV vehicles * Must have Level 3 City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications in Vehicle Technician.
