Service Manager Location: Telford Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday (Apply online only) - 1 hour lunch break (unpaid) Salary: OTE £40,000.00 per annum Contract Type: Permanent Igloo is looking for a Service Manager to join our client’s team in Telford on a permanent basis. Our client is one of the UK’s leading automotive companies, with operations throughout the country. What you’ll be doing: * Optimising and increasing profitability whilst maintaining exceptional customer service. * To analyse D.O.C daily and ensure corrective and preventative action is taken where necessary. * Prepare reports for the senior management team. * Conduct staff appraisals and personal development plans. * Answer customers questions regarding technical problems with their vehicles, warranties, service and repairs. * Excellent understanding of the warranty process in order to maximise earnings. * Managing a team including front of office, workshop and delivery drivers. * Ensure Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. * Ensure that technicians are aware of the procedure for using all existing and new equipment. What we need from you: * Knowledge of service sales revenue vs targets. * Understanding of labour productivity and workshop lead times to ensure maximum utilization and efficiency. * Customer satisfaction and retention skills ensuring our NPS targets are met at all times. * Demonstrate first class leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop the aftersales team. * Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. * Be able to build and maintain rapport with colleagues, customers and external providers. * Organised, highly motivated and process driven with the ability to adapt and manage workloads. * Able to identify opportunity and strategically develop the business. * Knowledge of Keyloop (DMS System). * Previous knowledge of Service Box would be advantageous. * Previous experience within a similar role.
