Questech Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of an industry leading client for a Haulage Manager / Officer ideally from a waste or recycling background. This role offers great opportunities in an excellent working environment. This is an ongoing role through the agency which is paid on a weekly basis. Perm roles may be available for the right candidate. Role: * Managing a site including Supervisors, Drivers and ground staff, developing their skills and competencies to ensure productivity and efficiency. * Supporting and overseeing the rest of the Transport office team, dealing with absences, disciplinary’s etc. * Deal with recruitment needs, inductions, staff training and more * Managing Key contracts to values above £3m * Make sure all documents, contracts are all in accordance with EU legislation and procedures * Oversee relevant budgets for multiple sites and areas * You will be required to be at multiple sites in the Leicester Area (Millage is covered) Skills & Experience * Previous experience working within a waste / recycling transport service or transferable environment is preferable but not essential. * Previous experience working with large contract and managing budgets is required. * Previous experience managing a team with proven success. * Excellent communication skills. The Hours Monday to Friday on a day shift, circa 40 hours per week. Rate of Pay You will earn an hourly rate between £21 - £24.
