About the Position

• We're seeking a part time/ad hoc Motor Vehicle Training Instructor to teach and inspire aspiring light and heavy vehicle technicians.

In this role, you will

• Deliver engaging and effective training sessions on motor vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Develop course materials and practical exercises tailored to light and heavy vehicle systems.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to trainees, helping them build technical expertise and confidence
• Assess trainee performance and ensure high standards of learning are achieved.

What We're Looking For

• Recognised qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (e.g., SVQ Level 3, IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
• Strong teaching or coaching skills (training experience is a plus, but not essential).
• A passion for sharing knowledge and developing others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and techniques.

Location: Our purpose-built training centre in Harbour Road, Inverness IV 11 UF

Working Hours: part time 8.30-16.30 Monday-Friday (minimum of 18 weeks per annum) Salary: Competitive
