Working closely with the Head of HR/Recruitment, the Recruitment Consultant will enjoy an interesting role with a key focus on sourcing and attracting the very best employees and contractors to the business. The role would be well suited to an external or internal recruitment consultant. Key responsibilities of the role: Work with the HR/Recruitment Manager to plan and execute various recruitment assignments for the Divisional Managers in the business. Recruitment locations can be dispersed geographically across the UK. Set up searches for specific job requisitions. Identify, contact, and qualify potential candidates who have approached us directly or whom we have sourced from our contracted CV database provider/s to establish their work preferences and suitability. Building bespoke candidate attraction campaigns by working with the HR /Recruitment Manager, marketing department and various Divisional Managers Seeking out and attracting potential talent both internally via our employee and contractor network (referrals) and externally, via various media channels, for example, via Linked In, facebook etc and/or CV databases that have been subscribed to. Assisting the HR/Recruitment Manager by making initial candidate contact where directed for various recruitment assignments, qualifying their work preferences, presenting the role/s we are offering to interested candidates and referring on to HR Manager or Divisional Manager for review. An excellent understanding of the Company proposition is required to upsell and gain interest in a candidate driven market. Objection handling skills gained from a previous recruitment role would be highly desirable. Shortlisting candidates that meet the recruitment brief/s Assisting with the scheduling of interview and technical assessment requests in different regional centres (Orpington and Liverpool) and at other ad hoc locations as directed. Pipelining and maintaining contact with candidates whose technical background may be suitable for the business. For example, they may not be actively interested in an immediate role but may be open to discussions at a later stage. Assisting with induction programs – dissemination and collection of HR/Recruitment onboarding documents. Ad-Hoc assistance in other areas as directed by the HR/Recruitment Manager. For this role we seek a results-orientated, friendly, and professional internal recruiter with a focus on talent attraction/recruitment/resourcing, ideally gained previously in a recruitment/resourcing /talent attraction business setting. The role works within a busy HR/Recruitment department that genuinely cares about the employee and contractor experience within the business, therefore a great team work ethic and attitude are essential along with excellent communication skills – verbal and written. Microsoft Office skills essential. This position is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
