Project Manager Warwickshire, UK £45-50k + bonus + benefits This role requires experienced project manager that has worked within an engineering product development environment (e.g. electronic design, embedded software, mechanical design.) Working alongside experienced design and development engineers you will support customer projects offering project management administration experience. Candidates should have an appreciation of design and development engineering (e.g. electronic design, embedded software, mechanical design) and be able to work effectively and autonomously within a fast-paced, customer centric small engineering organisation (automotive, aerospace, marine electrification would be ideal) Based in Leamington Spa. More: Project Manager * Strong communication and organisational skills (used to working with customers) * Ability to guide and support engineers within design projects. * Strong project administration skills (finance, resource management, tracking, documentation, etc) * An engineering qualification / background would be useful (design / development (e.g. electronic design, embedded software, mechanical design)) * Experience of vehicle electrification projects, motor control, or similar would be very useful (e.g. powertrain, vehicle dynamics, or similar complex mechatronic systems) In this role you will be involved with supporting customer projects (electric vehicle propulsion, conventional powertrain systems) from concept to prototype. This means offering project management support, keeping on top of project administration, customer interaction, guiding and mentoring juniors on project management best practice and ultimately, making things happen! The ideal candidate would be from an engineering background (ideally having worked within product development within the automotive sector or similar (e.g. electronic design, embedded software, mechanical design)), be used to delivering product development projects, be confident, proactive, have strong communication skills, be highly motivated, organised and keen to progress. Required: Project Manager * At least 4 years of post-academic experience in a similar role with demonstrable project management responsibility * A good degree or ideally masters in a relevant subject (e.g. electronics, computer science, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, etc) * Strong communication and organisational skills (used to working with customers) * Ability to guide and support engineers within design / product development projects. * Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer centric environment. * Strong project administration skills (finance, resource management, tracking, documentation, etc) * Experience of vehicle electrification projects, motor control, or similar would be very useful (e.g. powertrain, vehicle dynamics, or similar complex mechatronic systems) * Evidence of achievements within project management (noted on your CV) Experience of automotive, marine, aerospace, or other vehicle electrification / motor control / conventional powertrain product development would be ideal.(e.g. electronic design, embedded software, mechanical design.)
