Lifecycle Consultant 6 month initial contract Rate: £38/hr Umbrella (inside IR35) Peterborough (hybrid working: 3 days per week on site minimum) As a Lifecycle Consultant, you will play a key project management role in driving initiatives to support parts and service growth through the product lifecycle for Aftermarket. In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to: Positively impact existing processes and develop new repair options that push parts sales, leading and influencing major initiatives to set direction for parts growth Take responsibility for your Product group on parts branding, intellectual property, supplier agreements, design change, service, repair and overhaul Support the business cases and development of innovative aftermarket parts and service solutions utilising industry knowledge and expertise to drive to successful market launch You will work in a team of Life Cycle consultants and engineers with broad responsibility for helping drive processes to protect and improve aftermarket parts and legacy with focus on the New Product Introduction phase. Identify opportunities to improve the aftermarket value offering by engaging with managers and stakeholders to understand the opportunities, then quantify this to drive change through the product teams. Consider data and qualitative feedback to be able to deliver change through these findings. To apply for this Lifecycle Consultant role, you would require: Automotive or off-highway background (ideally in aftermarket) Project management experience – experience of taking ownership and delivery of project Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel knowledge), Teamcenter or similar system that manages engineering data. Data Analysis skills and ability to read and understand engineering drawings utilising Teamcenter or equivalent engineering systems (technical background) Ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders and different levels of the business. Ability to lead by influence and communicate with all levels of the organisation Extensive knowledge of NPI, Product deletion, brand, design change, aftermarket systems, processes, service, repair, and overhaul solutions Ability to complete analysis and provide direction using complex datasets.
