About The Role As an experienced Vehicle Prep / Paint Technician with Steer, you will be working with a variety of customer vehicles. You will have the following responsibilities: * Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed. * Mix paint to match vehicle colour and apply it using spray guns and other equipment. * Ensure paint jobs meet quality standards and customer specifications. * Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results. * Maintain a clean and organised work environment, and ensure health and safety procedures and guidelines are followed at all times. About You We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Prep/Paint Technician, ideally from an accident repair background, with the following: * Experience of working with a variety of vehicles, including electric and hybrid vehicles. * Strong knowledge of automotive painting techniques and materials. * Ability to use paint mixing equipment and spray guns effectively. * Understanding of the accident repair industry. * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Valid driver's licence and clean driving record. You will ideally hold ATA/NVQ qualifications, and we will support in renewing these.
