Prep /  Paint / Polish Technician role: As a Prep /  Paint / Polish Technician you will be responsible for the paint lifecycle of luxury vehicles working to bespoke and custom specifications - This position is ideal for those with a broad range of skills including paint preparation, spray painting, tinting and colouring, ensuring the application of base coasts, primers, lacquers, finishes and various paints are flawless! Working hours: Early shift: 6am – 2pm (Monday – Friday) with overtime available Late Shift: 2pm – 10pm (Monday – Friday) with overtime available What’s in it for You: Competitive pay rates – Shift Premium applied and will be discussed with you upon application. Experienced in preparing vehicles for painting, ensuring surfaces are sanded, masked, and cleaned to perfection. Skilled in applying fillers and primers to smooth out imperfections before the painting process. Proficient in working with a variety of materials, including metal, carbon fibre, and plastic, commonly used in automotive manufacturing. Knowledgeable in the use of automotive-specific tools and techniques to ensure efficient and high-quality preparation. Who is the Ideal Paint Technician? Proficient in full re-sprays and various spraying techniques for different types of paints. Experienced in working with a wide range of paints including metallic, pearlescent, and matte finishes. Skilled in painting carbon fibre and other materials to achieve flawless results. Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing defect-free finishes. Who is the Ideal Polisher? Experienced in assessing paintwork conditions and detecting imperfections such as scratches and swirl marks. Skilled in sanding, buffing, and polishing surfaces to remove defects and restore finishes. Knowledgeable in choosing the appropriate polishing compounds and tools for each job.
