Key Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading Aerospace business in the derby area. they are looking to add a NDT Level Two Inspector to aid in further growth and projects. Responsibilities * Have the skills and knowledge to set up and standardise equipment, conduct tests, interpret and evaluate for acceptance or rejection and document results. * Have the skills and knowledge to conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard. * Be capable of developing written instructions from approved general procedures. Such instructions shall require final approval by a Level 3 certified in the method. * Completion of all internal and external documentation relevant to the inspection/ testing of product or process, e.g. Work card, inspection reports, First Article Inspection Reports, Non-conformance Reports etc. * The identification and documenting of non-conforming product or process. * Liaise with production personnel and supervision where required to feedback information relating to tested product. * Be familiar with the codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the method as utilised * Compliance with all pertinent procedures and work instructions within the quality manual. * Reading, interpreting and understanding of drawings, work cards, specifications and other relevant technical documents. * To identify and communicate improvements to processes or procedures identified during the performance of testing activities. * Active involvement in Continuous Improvement activities related to Inspection activities. * Work in an accurate and timely fashion. * Where required, involvement with the investigation into root cause of non-conforming product and the implementation of corrective and preventive action. * You are expected to be familiar with the content of the Company’s Health and Safety Policy and in particular your responsibilities within the Policy. Knowledge & Experience * An excellent eye for accuracy and attention to detail. * Experience with MPI (Beneficial) * Ability to manage workload independently to meet the monthly deadlines. * Good communication skills for working with others in the business. You will not be afraid to ask questions. You will be comfortable using both telephone and email and messaging. * Exceptional numerical ability and strong analytical skills * Ability to work as part of a team. * Committed to personal learning and career development. * Determination to achieve high standards of performance. Qualifications * GCSE’s along with a minimum of either a relevant A level (or equivalent) and/or relevant work experience * NDT Level II Certification (Radiographic)
