Motorcycle Technician Location: Cheltenham Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per year (depending on experience) + overtime/bonus opportunities Hours: Full-time, typically 40 hours per week, including occasional weekends About the Role We are looking for a skilled Motorcycle Technician to join our busy Cheltenham dealership/workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, qualified mechanic with a passion for motorcycles. You will work on a wide range of bikes, from new models to customer-owned machines, delivering high-quality service and repairs. Key Responsibilities Conducting servicing, maintenance, and repairs on motorcycles to manufacturer standards Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults accurately Road-testing motorcycles after repair to ensure quality and safety Maintaining accurate service records and documentation Advising customers on maintenance, upgrades, and safety improvements Keeping the workshop clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations Assisting with inventory management, parts ordering, and stock control Essential Requirements Qualified motorcycle technician or equivalent experience (City & Guilds / IMI preferred) Proven experience working with motorcycles in a dealership or workshop environment Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and as part of a team Passion for motorcycles and customer service Desirable Experience with premium brands (BMW, Ducati, Triumph, Harley-Davidson) Ability to work on both modern and classic motorcycles Familiarity with warranty and service procedures in a dealership setting What’s On Offer Competitive salary with overtime and bonus potential Opportunities for progression within the dealership Training and manufacturer-accredited courses Friendly, professional team environment Staff discounts on motorcycles, parts, and accessories
