We're a small team, but we sell around 350 bikes each year, and hundreds of other bikes for tyres, servicing, and MOT's besides. Your technical skill goes without saying, but so does fitting in with our team. Motorcycle Technician Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be fully qualified with a minimum of 3 years experience in a busy motorcycle repair workshop. Motorcycle Technician Essential You should be able to work unsupervised in a safe and timely manner to extremely high standards. You must have technical experience of modern motorcycles and be able to use current diagnostic equipment, with a good understanding of electrical systems. Above all, you need to be a team player and a problem solver. We are a small family business without the technical resources of a manufacturer behind us. You will need to be comfortable talking to customers and able to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally, providing technical explanations in a way that can be easily understood. You will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing customers bikes and preparing used bikes for the sales team. This includes fitting accessories and aftermarket spares as necessary. Motorcycle Technician must: * Have a full bike and car licence is essential. * Be 25 or over. Due to the requirements of our insurance company, we are unable to employ anybody under 25, or with more than 6 penalty points. A current MOT qualification would be beneficial but not essential, but you must meet the criteria set by the DVSA to become an MOT tester.
