MET Technician - Static Role Location: Basingstoke (Hampshire) Salary: £35,000 - £43,000 + Bonus Scheme (Basic Dependant on experience)   Due to our clients continued success and growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced MET Technician to work with an existing team based in their modern, purpose built Bodyshop in Basingstoke (Hampshire)   As an MET Technician you will ideally have an ATA but this is NOT essential as our client will arrange and fully fund an ATA MET course for you. You will be provided with every opportunity to build on your MET repair skills as this client believes strongly in developing and training its team in all aspects of MET repair methods.   Our client is looking for candidates with the following skills: Strong eye for detail Excellent time management Strong desire to learn new skills and develop current skills Great team player Able to work independently when needed Good communication skills   The role will include: Carry out all repairs according to best practice procedures Ensure that where available manufacturer data and information is used Interpret and implement technical instruction data Meeting acceptable safety and quality standards Ensure alignment equipment is used accurately on all repairs Interpret and follow job card in instruction seeking clarification from the Bodyshop Estimator if job card is not clear or seems incorrect Carry out all MET repairs according to best practice procedures In return our client offers a friendly work environment, great pay and bonus scheme.
