Salary includes competetive shift premium Free onsite parking Life assurance Employee Assisatance Programme Holidays Pension Shift working Key Duties: * Setting and operating Manual Milling Machine * Machine range of features on aircraft grade aluminum components, such as: tapers, chamfers, slots, grooves to aircraft standard tolerance. * Consider correct methods to setup and clamp parts to achieve desirable features. * Calculate angles and radii to meet customer drawing specifications. * When necessary, design and manufacture tooling fixtures to aid in the machining of specific features * Carry out inspection, including first-off inspection to authorized level. * Working with a variety of material, mainly aircraft grade aluminum. * Working with engineering drawings. * Identify and report drawing errors. * Close tolerance work. * Maintaining, communicating, and attending a shift handover. * Any other duties within job holders skill set as request by Management Core Skills * 5 years’ experience working in a similar role * Demonstrable experience working to fine tolerances * Experience with ferrous and nonferrous materials * Able to interpret engineering drawings * Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment * Fully skilled time served engineer/tool maker with milling and turning experience (desirable)
