Head of Operations Location: Northeast England Hours: Full time Monday to Friday   The Role of the Head of Operations We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations to take full accountability for a large, multi-depot transport operation. You will be responsible for safe, punctual and compliant service delivery across the network, leading depot leadership teams and driving operational performance at scale. This is an exciting, hands-on leadership role requiring strong judgement, resilience and decisive action.   Key Responsibilities of the Head of Operations Full operational accountability across multiple bus & coach depots Deliver safe, compliant and reliable services Lead and performance-manage Depot Managers Drive safety standards and regulatory compliance Manage disruption, incidents and operational risk Improve productivity, cost control and efficiency Provide clear operational reporting to senior leadership Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Commercial, Finance and HR  What We’re Looking for from the Head of Operations Senior operations leadership experience in transport, logistics or a complex, safety-critical environment Full CPC Experience leading large, dispersed teams Strong understanding of regulatory compliance Proven track record of improving operational performance Commercial awareness and budget management experience Decisive, calm and credible leadership style Confident communicator across all levelsIf you wish to apply to the role of Head of Operations, please apply today or call Niki on (phone number removed)
