Head of Operations | Oldham, North Manchester | £60,000 - £65,000 | Transport Business - Progression to Operations Director!  Our client are a long standing business who have nearly doubled turnover in the last 2 years, securing and winning lucrative contracts with iconic brands. This role will have a high potential of progression to Operations Director within the next 2 years! Your responsibility as Head of Operations will be to work closely with all internal departments, liaising with clients and suppliers to achieve productive communications, to maximise our service delivery. We require an excellent leader and team manager who will strive to bring the most efficient ways to run the business. Responsibilities Oversee the planning and allocation process Supervise and support staff, providing appraisal, training, and constructive feedback. Regularly evaluate the efficiency of business operations according to our objectives and apply improvements. Manage Operations department procurement processes. Oversee and enhance customer support processes, to enhance satisfaction. Set, monitor, and achieve both performance and financial and goals. Implement and develop driver recruitment, performance and support processes. Evaluate performance by gathering, analysing, and interpreting data. Ensure that the company is continually safe and compliant.  Requirements Excellent organisational and leadership. Outstanding communication and people skills. Knowledge of transport industry Good knowledge of the latest business software and operating systems. Ability to produce reports, understand data, and performance.
