Group Parts Manager Pembrook Resourcing are currently seeking a Group Parts Manager to join their client’s aftersales department, as a Parts Manager you will play a key role, ensuring the parts department runs smoothly and efficiently. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Group Parts Manager to oversee the parts operations across our automotive dealership group. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively managing the parts department, optimizing customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the dealership group. Responsibilities involve; * Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate tracking and management of parts stock. * Monitor inventory levels for all dealerships, reorder points, and manage stock levels to minimize overstock and shortages. * Regularly analyse sales trends to adjust inventory levels and ordering strategies. Supplier Relations; * Establish and maintain strong relationships with parts suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely and reliable delivery of parts. * Negotiate favourable pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to maximize profitability. Team Management; * Lead and mentor a team of parts department staff * Provide training and guidance to ensure excellent technical expertise. Customer Service; * Work closely with service departments to ensure timely availability of parts for customer vehicle repairs and maintenance. * Address customer inquiries and concerns related to parts availability, pricing, and compatibility. Sales and Marketing; * Collaborate with the sales team to promote parts and accessories to customers purchasing vehicles. * Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase parts sales and enhance customer engagement. Reporting and Analytics; * Prepare and present regular reports on parts department performance, including sales, inventory turnover, and profitability. * Utilize data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Budget Management; * Develop and manage the parts department budget, including forecasting expenses, revenues, and profitability. * Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures to achieve financial targets. Requirements: * Several years of experience in automotive parts management, with a proven track record of successful inventory management and team leadership. * Strong knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, and industry trends. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in using inventory management software and computer systems. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
