ESTIMATOR JOB SUMMARY:    Due to continued growth, we are excited to be working with a Salisbury based organisation, to help them expand their team with the addition of an Estimator. The ideal candidate will have either completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or have relevant estimating experience in an engineering / manufacturing environment.    Our client offers hybrid working, and are flexible for the right person, to work from home once they are comfortable with the requirements of the role. Hours:  Monday – Thursday 8am-5pm, and 8am – 12pm on a Friday.    ESTIMATOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare and issue estimates and quotations. Assist with management of several projects – across the UK and Internationally Liaise with suppliers and other third parties, as required to identify pricing, delivery expectations etc. Update and maintain databases/systems internally. Take on other project administration duties to support a busy team.    ESTIMATOR KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Previous Estimating/ quotation experience is essential for this role.  Whilst you will be provided with on the job training, the hiring manager is looking for someone that can quickly transition into the role, given that they are a very busy team. Experience in the Aerospace Industry with a focus on Tubing/Sheet Metal/Pipework would be ideal - training can be provided, but a basic understanding would required. Strong administration and customer interaction experience is essential. This is a busy, varied role within a fast paced, agile environment, so it is essential that you can multitask and work to deadlines. Excellent IT skills (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, CRM / ERP systems etc.) Excellent attention to detail – given the nature of the works you will be estimating. Exceptional administrative and organisation skills. The ability to prioritise workload.
