Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor £45,000 – £55,000 Basic (DOE) Basildon Permanent / Full Time Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8:00am – 5:30pm) We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor to join a busy and well-established bodyshop in the Basildon area. This is a great opportunity to join a high-performing team with strong earning potential and a consistent Monday to Friday working pattern. The Role As an Estimator / VDA, you’ll be responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damage and managing the repair process from estimate through to completion. * Producing accurate repair estimates using industry systems * Liaising with insurance companies, customers and third parties * Managing claims and ensuring all information is correctly recorded * Supporting the workshop to ensure efficient repair processes * Delivering excellent customer service throughout the repair journey * Maintaining a safe and organised working environment What We’re Looking For * Proven experience as an Estimator / VDA within the motor trade * Experience working within a bodyshop environment * Audatex experience desirable * Strong communication and organisational skills * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Full UK Driving Licence Recruitment Process * Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a trial of 3 estimates * Candidates must be comfortable completing this stage to be considered What’s On Offer * £45,000 – £55,000 basic salary (depending on experience) * Monday to Friday working hours * Stable and supportive working environment * Opportunity to join a busy and successful bodyshop This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced VDA looking for a well-paid role with strong long-term stability.
