All products are assembled by hand to IPC standards What you will do: A PCB will typically be the size of a 5p and encapsulated into the sensor. You will work in a team of 8 people to * Design from scratch electronic circuits and schematics typically low voltage eg 5V in 12v up to 36v output. Analogue and digital circuits, ASICS but no uPs * Design low volume PCBs (through hole) for small circuits with emphasis on EMC considerations and size * Develop and test circuits for functionality and DVP. What you will need * HND, degree in electrical/electronic engineering * Have worked on low volume, harsh environment circuit design – any industry will be considered * Have done PCB design on a proprietary CAD package eg Mentorgraphics or similar * Be able to design simple circuits (analogue and digital) * Have worked on circuit development – prototyping, circuit test (so ability to use scopes and meters is essential) * Be willing to work in a small team and be a key player within What you will get: * Benefits package including EAP, half day finish on Fridays and variable start time during week * Glorious rural location in an accessible market town. * Be responsible for your own design and own work – i.e. subject matter expert
