Collection & Delivery Car Driver Required in Aldershot, Hampshire  Pay: £11 per hour + overtime, full time permanent position!  Working hours: 8am - 5pm MONDAY - FRIDAY ONLY! Our Client a Manufacturer approved Accident Repair Centre with over 40 years trading experience are seeking a Collection & Delivery Driver for their Accident Repair customer service team based in Aldershot, Hampshire.   This is a rare opportunity to join a well-run, respectable Accident Repair Centre who pride themselves on their quality of work and customer care. They treat each member of staff with value and respect, offering a clean, state of the art, well laid out family run Bodyshop environment with plenty of career advancement within group if desired for the successful collection and delivery driver.   Being local to Aldershot is a distinct advantage but not essential to be considered for the Collection & Delivery Driver job opportunity at our clients Crash Repair Centre. Professional working experience as a Driver / Service Driver is essential to be considered for an interview. The successful Collection & Delivery Driver will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. You will be skilled in Customer Service, being well presented at all times; as you are the face of the company our clients customers see when you collect and return their vehicles after repair work has been completed. Our client is open to conversations with anybody with professional driving experience, regardless of industry served.  Day to day duties of a Collection & delivery driver with our clients accident repair business:  Vehicle Collection & Delivery: Safely collect damaged vehicles from customers' locations or designated points. Transport vehicles to the repair centre ensuring compliance with road safety regulations. Deliver repaired vehicles back to customers in a timely manner, ensuring satisfaction with the service provided. Vehicle Inspection: Conduct basic inspections of vehicles upon collection to record existing damage and document any additional findings. Ensure that vehicles are securely loaded and unloaded to prevent any further damage during transit. Documentation and Paperwork: Maintain accurate records of all collections and deliveries, including customer details, vehicle information, and any special instructions. Complete paperwork such as collection and delivery notes, ensuring all relevant information is recorded correctly. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by being professional, courteous, and helpful at all times. Communicate effectively with customers regarding collection and delivery times, any delays, or changes to schedules. Vehicle Care and Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle both internally and externally. Perform routine checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any issues to management promptly. Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required. Follow company policies and procedures relating to vehicle handling, security, and customer confidentiality. Coordination with Repair Centre: Coordinate with the repair centre team to ensure efficient scheduling of collections and deliveries. Communicate any special requirements or instructions related to vehicle transportation to the relevant personnel. Problem Solving: Handle any issues or challenges that may arise during collection or delivery, such as vehicle breakdowns, traffic delays, or customer concerns, with professionalism and efficiency. Notify management of any significant issues that require further attention or resolution. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving the collection and delivery process to enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall service quality. Provide feedback to management on any areas for improvement or suggestions for optimising operations.
