The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) is the professional body for individuals working in automotive, supporting people in their automotive careers through membership, qualifications and training.  The IMI’s Professional Register aims to drive up standards across the automotive industry, providing consumers and customers with added confidence in the industry and the professionals who drive it.

Role Overview

As a key member of our Centre Engagement Team, you’ll be the first point of contact for our IMI Centre members and learners. You’ll ensure smooth administration, timely processing of forms and requests, and a positive customer experience that reinforces the value of IMI membership.

From handling Learner and Centre queries to maintaining accurate data across our systems, this is a vital role that supports our commitment to quality and service excellence.

About You

We are looking for someone who can provide first-line customer care to IMI Centres and learners via phone, email, social media, and web.  Be able to handle sensitive or complex issues with professionalism and attention to regulatory compliance, assist with ad-hoc learner queries and update learner records to ensure product completion.  You’ll also be able to identify and report any potential malpractice or data concerns and investigate and resolve centre enquiries using internal systems.
