Bodyshop Manager Location: Southampton Salary: £[Competitive DOE] + Bonus Contract: Full-time, Permanent Overview We are recruiting for an experienced Bodyshop Manager to lead a busy and well-established bodyshop operation in Southampton. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, driving productivity and profitability, and ensuring high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities * Manage the day-to-day running of the bodyshop * Lead, motivate, and develop bodyshop staff including Panel Beaters, Paint Technicians, MET Technicians, and Admin * Ensure repairs are completed to manufacturer and insurance standards * Monitor workflow, productivity, and efficiency * Manage customer satisfaction and handle escalated issues * Ensure compliance with health & safety, manufacturer, and insurer requirements * Control costs, budgets, and profitability * Liaise with insurers, suppliers, and internal departments Skills & Experience Required * Proven experience as a Bodyshop Manager or Bodyshop Controller * Strong leadership and people management skills * Good technical understanding of bodyshop repair processes * Experience working with insurance companies and estimates * Excellent organisational and communication skills * Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer * Competitive salary with bonus structure * Established bodyshop with consistent work flow * Supportive senior management * Career development opportunities * Company benefits package
