We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Automotive Trainer. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with industry experience to guide and mentor apprentices through their learning journey, ensuring they reach their full potential and achieve success in their Apprenticeship Standard. Key Responsibilities: Deliver skills, knowledge, and behavioural components of the automotive Apprenticeship Standard. Coordinate between off-the-job and on-the-job training. Develop and update training materials and workshop facilities. Assess apprentice work (both practical and theoretical) and provide constructive feedback. Promote the efficient use of resources with an emphasis on reducing environmental impact. Embed personal development, maths, and English into technical training. Ensure apprentice safeguarding and wellbeing through adherence to policies and procedures. Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with Government-funded apprenticeship programmes. Participate in quality audits and career events to promote apprenticeships. Requirements: Relevant occupational competence. A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one). Full Driving License. First Aid at Work Qualification (or willingness to undertake). Satisfactory enhanced DBS check. Salary & Benefits: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum. 39 hours per week (Monday to Friday). 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays. Participation in CPD programmes.
