Job Title: Assistant Technician Job Type: Onsite, Flexitime Work Type: Permanent Hours: 37hrs per week Industry: Defence/Aerospace Job Location: Gloucestershire Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 per annum + Overtime (x1.5, x2) Profile – Assistant Technician Out client operates mainly as a multi-tier provider, in the military and commercial aerospace markets. Duties – Assistant Technician • Build, inspect and test new build products to drawings/instructions. • Undertake fault diagnosis of returned items and provide a comprehensive strip report. • Repair and test of customers units as required. • Carry out first off / patrol inspection of non-approved operators work. • Identify problems/issues and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence. Experience/Qualifications – Assistant Technician • Prior broad based cell manufacturing experience. • IPC certified.
