Benefits:                Company Vehicle, Pension: 6% employer, 5% employee, 33 days holiday (including statutory), death in service 3x annual salary, company sick pay scheme, health care programme free onsite parking Location:           Halifax Contract:           Permanent full time Workshop Manager Opportunity You will have overall responsibility for the workshop operation and be accountability for the effective running of the Workshop to include all shotblasting, Welding, Fabrication, Paint Preparation, Paint Spraying, mechanical and quality Checking throughout the department. You will need o have prior experience within a workshop manager or similar role Workshop Manager duties  Ensure Workshop practices are constantly reviewed, audited where required and revised where appropriate to a achieve optimum levels of service, safety and efficiency. Accept accountability for the performance of Workshop operations and for the support, growth and development of the team. Identify opportunity for continual cost savings and efficiency improvements with recommended actions – in particular labour control, efficiency and productivity. Ensuring jobs are completed on-time and accurately and all job cards are completed and clear records are retained. Ensuring all parts needed are proactively ordered to complete workshop jobs. Provide quotations for accident or mechanical repairs and ensure proactively managed forward.  Workshop Manager experience required  Currently in a workshop manager or similar role within the HGV, Plant or specialist vehicle sector Knowledge of the automotive (Commercia vehicles) workshop environment Rental operation experience would be beneficial Nice to have but not essential – IOSHH, ISO 9001/14001, management qualification
