WORKSHOP MACHINIST ASSEMBLER The successful candidate will have worked in an engineering environment, with preference to marine with hands-on experience in manual machining/lathes and fitting. Workshop Machinist: Main Duties & Responsibilities: Experience with manual CNC machining and lathe work. Mechanical Fitting Assembling of components according to internal processes (will be taught within the role) Balancing of rotors Resourceful mechanical engineering skills Traceability and process improvement management The following skills are required. Attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills & Excellent communication skills Ability to read technical engineering drawings and specifications. Able to multitask and work under pressure to deliver to deadlines. Self-inspection on machined parts CNC Manual Machining Lathe Work Mechanical Fitting Benefits Workshop Machinist: Benefits and salary Days based role 8:00am-4.00pm Monday to Friday Overtime opportunities Company Pension You are expected to work with minimum supervision and may be expected to deal with other duties appropriate to your skill set and ability.
