Pension Scheme + Life insurance - taking care of you As the Workshop Controller / Workshop Foreman / Workshop Supervisor / Service Controller / Vehicle Maintenance Controller / Lead Mechanic / HGV Technician / LCV Technician / Workshop Manager you are responsible for the organisation control and service capability of the entire workshop based in Avonmouth. As the interface between the workshop and the customer department you will ensure that process and procedures are followed with the aim of smooth, professional and timely handling of all diagnostic, repair and maintenance work whilst maximising the available workshop hours. You therefore are responsible for customer satisfaction and for the economic success of Service. Duties for the Workshop Controller / Workshop Foreman / Workshop Supervisor / Service Controller / Vehicle Maintenance Controller / Lead Mechanic / HGV Technician / LCV Technician / Workshop Manager will include: * ·Accept workshop orders and transfer and communicate work instructions to the technicians, including any specific customer requirements * ·Workshop Scheduling * ·Ensuring information flow between the front desk and Service staff * ·Diagnostics, including supporting the technicians to the point of concluding the job * ·To assist with planning and relevant training and development for the workshop staff * ·To ensure the workshop is kept clean and tidy and that all workshop staff are observing health and safety regulations Desired Skills and Experience for the Workshop Controller / Workshop Foreman / Workshop Supervisor / Service Controller / Vehicle Maintenance Controller / Lead Mechanic / HGV Technician / LCV Technician / Workshop Manager: ·Trained and certified Technician in an automotive service profession ·Further qualification in Automotive Foreman or leadership/Management qualification ·Experience leading employees and technical teams ·Experience in dealing with customers and suppliers ·Extensive knowledge of the operational running of a workshop ·Flexible approach to work and adaptable to thrive in a changing environment ·Possess Organisation and Leaderships Skills ·Ability to communicate expectations clearly ·Able to act as a role model for service staff ·Promotes a supportive management style and able to guide and Inspires people to achieve targets and goals and continue to develop ·Competent in customer contact ·Demonstrates numeracy and literacy skills If this Workshop Controller role sounds of interest to you then please send your CV to Danica Baker at Sprint Recruitment
