Our workshop in Farnham is dedicated to providing high-quality service to ensure the safety and efficiency of our clients' fleets. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Fleet Workshop Controller to join there team. Job Description: Role Overview: The Fleet Workshop Controller will oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy workshop, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the maintenance and repair processes. This role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of service and ensuring that all vehicles are serviced and repaired in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities: Supervision and Coordination: Oversee and coordinate the activities of the workshop team, including technicians and support staff. Scheduling and Planning: Plan and schedule maintenance and repair work, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimal vehicle downtime. Quality Control: Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with safety regulations. Customer Service: Liaise with clients to provide updates on vehicle status, discuss repair needs, and ensure customer satisfaction. Inventory Management: Manage parts and equipment inventory, ensuring availability of necessary items for efficient workshop operations. Cost Control: Monitor and control workshop expenses, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising on quality. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, and provide regular reports to management. Health and Safety: Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to within the workshop.Qualifications and Skills: Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive industry, specifically with commercial and passenger vehicles. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes. Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide the workshop team. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing issues as they arise.
