About the Role As a Workshop Controller, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a busy workshop, ensuring all repairs are completed efficiently, on time, and to the highest standard. You’ll lead and support a team of skilled technicians, coordinate job flow, and act as a key link between the workshop, front-of-house staff, and the VDA team. Key Responsibilities * Manage the daily workshop schedule and ensure timely completion of repairs * Allocate work based on technician skills and workload capacity * Perform quality control checks to maintain repair standards and compliance * Liaise with service advisors to ensure accurate and timely customer updates * Maintain health and safety standards across all workshop operations * Collaborate with the Parts team to manage parts flow and inventory * Mentor, support and develop workshop staff to promote continuous improvement * Assist with damage assessments and repair planning alongside the VDA team About You You’ll have a solid background in the accident repair industry—possibly as an MET, Panel or Paint Technician, or VDA—and ideally some supervisory experience. You're confident under pressure, organised, and committed to delivering top-quality results.
