About the Role As a Workshop Controller, you’ll take charge of the day-to-day operations of a busy workshop, ensuring vehicle repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard. You’ll manage workflow, support technicians, and act as a key link between the workshop floor and front-of-house operations. You’ll also work closely with the VDA team to help plan and assess jobs accurately. Key Responsibilities * Manage daily workshop activity, ensuring efficient job flow and meeting delivery deadlines * Allocate jobs based on technician skillsets and capacity to maximise productivity * Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high repair standards * Communicate effectively with service advisors to keep customers informed * Uphold health and safety compliance across the workshop * Collaborate with the Parts team to ensure timely availability of components * Support training and development to build a skilled, motivated team * Assist with damage assessments and repair planning, supporting the VDA function About You You’ll bring hands-on experience from the accident repair industry—ideally as an MET, Panel or Paint Technician, or VDA—and have a proven track record in a supervisory or leadership role. You’ll also need: * Strong technical knowledge of modern vehicle systems and repair methods * Excellent organisational and leadership skills * The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure * Confident communication and team coordination abilities * Sound understanding of health and safety practices * Familiarity with workshop management systems; Audatex experience is an advantage * A valid UK driving licence Ready to Lead?
